The landscapes around Ninh Binh are absolutely beautiful, and the boat trip in Tam Coc in the rain added a very special atmosphere. Tom is a great guide, both for the cycling and the cultural stops. The cycling is perfectly manageable for people who are used to riding, although it may be a little more difficult for beginners, especially with the sequence of routes. For future travellers, I would definitely recommend bringing cycling shorts and gloves. The most surprising thing for our poor European bodies was the combination of heat and humidity 🥵😆. The last bike ride yesterday morning was a little more strenuous and faster 😇, but after lunch, the return to Hanoi was peaceful for everyone 😄😴. And then, in the evening, we experienced a tropical storm up close! The amount of water that poured down in just 30 minutes was impressive. Onward to new discoveries ☺
