Depart from Con Dao town and enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive to the Environmental Education Center, located at the edge of the National Park. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the island’s rich biodiversity and conservation efforts.

Upon arrival, explore interactive exhibits that highlight the unique ecosystems and wildlife of Con Dao National Park. The visit includes:

Interpretation Room: Discover 3D models, immersive paintings, and infographics that offer an overview of the park’s geography, biodiversity, and conservation programs.

• Specimen Gallery: See preserved specimens of notable species such as sea turtles, dugongs， 和 tank crabs, helping visitors appreciate the island’s ecological value.

Guided Forest Hike (Approx. 1.5 km)

Embark on a guided nature walk through the forest, covering approximately 1.5 km along a shaded trail. Your guide will point out:

• Native plant species and their ecological roles

• Wildlife such as long-tailed macaques, black squirrels， 和 tropical lizards

• Real stories about forest conservation, invasive species control, and the impact of climate and human activity on the ecosystem

Visit So Ray Plantation – History Meets Nature

Reach the summit of So Ray Hill, where the So Ray Plantation reveals a piece of Con Dao’s colonial past. Once used by the French as a prison labor farm, this site offers:

• A panoramic view of the entire town and coastline below

• A walk through remnants of stone structures left from the prison era

• A reflection on how history and nature coexist in this remote corner of the island
